A Squirrel Goes Trick or Treating - Sugared Acorns, Ponderosa Pine, Agarwood, Virginia Cedar, Woody Cashmere
Notes: Sugared Acorns, Ponderosa Pine, Agarwood, Virginia Cedar, Woody Cashmere
The scent of a squirrel, hopping from branch to branch in the woods, collecting sugared acorns from fellow woodland creatures.
The sugared acorn accord has three components:
- Black walnut tincture and vetiver combine to replicate the musty earthiness of acorn flesh.
- Tabanon is used for the sweeter-smelling acorn skin.
- Ethyl Maltol provides the sugary, caramelized note.
Underneath the acorn tincture, there is a warm woodsy accord, which showcases wild-harvested Ponderosa oleoresin. If you haven't smelled it before, it smells very sweet - almost like butterscotch. I've also included plenty of other woodsy materials, such as Black Hemlock, Virginia Cedarwood, and an Agarwood accord.
Lastly, there is a fair amount of my "Woody Cashmere" base, which is also available in my general catalog. The notes in it are fir balsam, cedar, labdanum, and cashmere.
