Vibe: Taking a big whiff of your favorite fall candle

For Candle Shoppe, I developed a red apple accord that smells sweet, waxy, and artificial, just like the apple scent you'd find in a fall candle. (If you want a realistic apple scent, Golden Hour in the Apple Orchard might be more to your taste).

I added other accords that are in my personal favorite fall candles: oatmeal, cream, praline, and vanilla - as well as some fatty aldehydes to create a waxy effect. And just the tiniest hint of sooty smoke to really pull together the candle vibe!

Unlike my other candle-themed perfume (Luminous), Candle Shoppe does not contain beeswax, so it is vegan-friendly.

One more note about Candle Shoppe: I sent out samples of this perfume in 2024, while it was a prototype. The formula is the same, except for the addition of the wood smoke note.
