Daffodil Darlin' - Bergamot, Daffodil, Makrut Lime Leaf, Meyer Lemon Blossom, Fig Leaf

Last year, I learned that my sisters and I all have the same favorite flower: the daffodil. So, of course, I immediately started working on a daffodil-themed perfume, haha. I originally made a small batch just for us, but it quickly became one of my favorite citrus-floral fragrances, and I knew I had to include it in my spring collection!

Daffodil Darlin’ opens with a very green, snappy citrus accord: bergamot, makrut lime leaf, and stemone (a molecule that smells of fig leaf). This accord smells similar to my Fig & Bergamot perfume, but with a twist of lime. 

Running underneath the citrus top is my new daffodil accord, as well as Meyer lemon blossom extract. The latter is a gorgeous raw material that, to me, smells like jasmine petals that were soaked in watered-down lemon juice. 

*Please note that the Meyer lemon blossom extract is an artisan-made material that isn’t always available. The Spring 2024 batch of Daffodil Darlin’ will contain the extract. In future years, depending on the extract’s availability, I may need to make an accord to replace it.
