Notes: Lilac, violet, violet leaf, humid air, gentle rain
A lush lilac note wafts through the night air while rain softly falls. Violets are crushed underfoot - their bruised petals smell powdery and soft, while their torn leaves are crisp, green, damp.
*The name is inspired by a passage in Proust’s Swann’s Way. I feel obligated here to say that I tried & failed to read Remembrance of Things Past, solely because of that one Gilmore Girls plotline with Max Medina & the loaned book. I adore Max Medina, largely because the actor played one of my biggest childhood crushes (Wolf from The 10 Kingdom). So, yeah, onto my To Read list it went.
